Abstract

In beginning of February 2005 there was launched new version of link server SFX by Ex Libris. New version marked as v3 have been eagerly expected in view of already nearly 700 SFX installations in 34 countries. In the lecture there will be presented SFX v3 new key features - OpenURL v1.0 support, enhanced searchable A-Z journal list, subject categories for resources, advanced consortia and multilingual support, simplified management.

About the author

Jiří Pavlík finished his studies at Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty Of Engineering in January 2000 with master degree. Since 1986 he is working at Charles University in Prague, Computer Science Centre. Computer Science Centre of Charles University is an exclusive distributor of Ex Libris products for Czech and Slovak Replublic. Jiří Pavlík is responsible for SFX support and sales at CU CSC.
