Lukáš Budínský graduated in Systems Engineering at the Faculty of Economics at CULS (Czech University of Life Sciences Prague). He has ten years experience in the Tomas Bata University Library in Zlin, where he is currently leading the IT department. The main scope of his activities is the development of infrastructure for access to information resources, development of value-added librarian services, theses and tools for supporting science and research. He was project manager of numerous projects including the implementation of the SFX technology for Library TBU or deployment DSpace as theses repository. At the present time he is devoted to the development of prospective meta-search project Xerxes and building institutional repository for TBU publishing.
