Abstract: |
Gradual implementing of evidence-based medicine in medical practice.
Information resources for EBM. Using medical literature as a tool for treating patients. Cooperation between the
librarian and the physician in the process of learning EBM principles and their practical application within one of EBM
phases - efective retrieval of medical literature in order to identify the most suitable evidences for treating
available.

Eva Lesenková, a medical librarian, who has been involved in information
services for postgraduate education in medicine. Recently she has concentrated on educational activities concerning
primarily in research and development. Jitka Feberová works as a senior lecturer in the field of evaluating
quality of Internet resources in medicine.
