Abstract
Moving printed content to electronic format is no longer enough. Users now need 24/7 live information tied with the ability to work with what-if scenaria on their computers. Integrating e-book content with productivity software is setting a higher standard in this industry. Together with expert search engines, a new way of finding and utilizing technical information, is being launched.
About the author
Monica Nogueira is the sales director of Knovel Corp., in the US, being directly responsible for new business opportunites both in the domestic and international marketplaces. Prior to Knovel, Ms. Nogueira spent 10 years working in the technical software industry (finite element analysis).
Before this assignment, she worked as a press liaison and spokesperson for multinational coporations in Brazil, her country of origin. Ms. Nogueira holds a master's degree in International Business Management, which complements her master's degree in Marketing, and undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Public Relations. She is also fluent in four languages.
