Abstract: |
There are more opportunities for Czech corporations in participating in
international programmes at present time and that is why the demands on "information industry" are growing stadily.
Programme IST is focused on research and innovations in the field of information technologies, programme eContent is
focused on information market development and building. The presentation will provide basic information about the goals
and possibilities of both programmes.

About the author: |
Mgr. Romana Krizova has degrees in Czech language and literature, Russian
language and literature and in comparative Slavonic philology in the Charles University in Prague. She has over ten
years experience working for the Cross Czech company, in charge of the management, training and research in the area of
ICT and its exploitation with respect to user needs. She has been an evaluator of proposals of IST and IMPROVING
programmes within FP5 and IST and Science and Society in FP6. Romana Krizova is the external consultant of the Czech
National Contact Points for 5th Framework Programme, eContent, Phare and Culture 2000, Information Centre for Non-Profit
Organisations and the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
