Abstract
At Charles University in Prague there are more that 120 thousand ebooks available for education and research. In the lecture mobile applications for discovery and reading ebooks using eduID.cz federated authentication will be presented. There will be also presented useful tips regarding tablets and ereaders.
Author's professional CV
Jiří Pavlík was graduated at Czech Technical University in 2000 and received a degree in Computer Science. Since 1995 Jiří Pavlík is working at Charles University Computer Science Centre. There he works as a system engineer working with library systems, federated authentication, fulltext technology solutions and multimedia systems. Since January 2006 he is a member of CESNET Shibboleth working group.
