Abstract
All the activities of Municipal Library of Prague from the area of digitisation, electronic information resources, publishing and providing access to e-books are merged in the project of e-library. It represents a space for finding solutions to e-book acquisition, library online presentation, use and promotion of electronic information resources, cooperation with publishers and libraries themselves. Municipal Library also participates in framing relationships between users (patrons, researchers) and professionals (authors, publishers, librarians and providers) through the e-library project. This presentation summarizes the state of the project and its relation to how are e-books in czech background dealt with and slightly suggests future development.
