On active exploitation of information sources, especially electronic, we have survey in subjects, which we are teaching in different study programmes realized in terms of lifelong learning on Mendel university in Brno. Graduates of university education know, their knowledges, which they gained at the close of their studies, fails. Vehement development of techniques and technologies and exercise of computer technology has significant influence over changes in all spheres.
These are describing in special source of information, to that they must be led students by pedagogues in programmes of lifelong learning. Structure of students is heterogeneous. To those, whereby from end of their study passed more years, must be necessary part of education informative education and ways of access to source of information. Report is concentrated on gained experiences and perspectives of education toward exploitation of information sources in lifelong learning on Mendel university and in confrontation with standard education too.

Director of Institute for Scientific and Pedagogic Information and Services from 1990 to 2006, from 2007 he is academic on Institute Lifelong Education of Mendel University in Brno. He was graduated at Technical University of Brno and CSc. at University of Economy in Prague. He worked in PVT Brno, CKD Blansko and Furniture Industry Brno as head of departements Computer Centre and departements Information and Management Systems.
He has solved of state and grant projects. Results of his work is modernized library with automatic system and modern information centre of university. He is teaching and publishing in sphere information and communication technology and he solves projects of ESF The Education for Competitiveness Operational Programme (ECOP).
