The conference was opened by Vladimir Karen, Managing Director of Albertina icome Praha, and his team. He informed the delegates that some individuals created a virtual student of librarianship who asked Czech librarians via email conferences to fill in a survey on the topic of „information hell“, „information purgatory“ and „information paradise“. There were 195 responses within just 7 days! In the second half of the opening address there was a panel discussion that included the Devil, the Purgatorist and the Angel as panelists.
