Guido F. Herrmann
Thieme Publishers, Germany
Guido F. Herrmann has ten-year background in the publishing industry and currently works as a Managing Director at Thieme Publishers. Since 2008 he is a member of the STM Copyright Committee of the International Association of STM Publishers. Since 2005 he has been acting as the Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Fachinformationszentrum Karlsruhe, Germany. He is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Technische Informationsbibliothek Hannover, Germany. He received academic training in chemistry (Ph.D.) and business studies (M.B.A.).

Chris Sherman

Chris Sherman is Executive Editor of SearchEngineLand.com and President of Searchwise LLC, a Boulder Colorado based Web consulting firm. He is also co-chair, with Danny Sullivan, of the Search Marketing Expo series of events.
He has delivered keynote addresses to the annual conferences of the Australian Library Association, the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement, etc.
Chris has more than 25 years of experience in developing multimedia and Internet applications. Chris has written about search and search engines since 1994. He is the author of „Google Power: Unleash the Full Power of Google“ from McGraw-Hill. His previous books include „The Invisible Web: Uncovering Information Sources Search Engines Can't See“ (with Gary Price). Chris is a Web Search University faculty member, and is an honorary inductee of the Internet Librarian Hall of Fame.
Chris holds a master's degree in Interactive Educational Technology from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts and Communications from the University of California, San Diego.

Christopher Warnock
ebrary, USA
Prior to co-founding ebrary, current ebrary CEO, Mr. Warnock consulted at Stanford University, where he helped develop a method in which University Presses could implement an electronic workflow solution for the electronic distribution of publications. He also provided feasibility research for Octavo Corporation, which publishes and preserves rare books and manuscripts using advanced digital tools and formats. From 1991–1996, he worked at Adobe Systems as a systems engineer, project manager, and product marketing manager for Adobe Acrobat. Mr. Warnock holds a B.S. in Philosophy from the University of Utah.

Sheila Webber
University of Sheffield, United Kingdom
Sheila Webber is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Information Studies, University of Sheffield, UK. Prior to joining the Department in Sheffield she taught at University of Strathclyde, Glasgow (where she maintained the popular website Business Information Sources on the Internet), and before that was Head of the British Library's Business Information Service.
Her key interests for research and teaching are information literacy and learning, and she is Director of the Centre for Information Literacy Research. She has presented at conferences around the world, and maintains the Information Literacy Weblog at http://information-literacy.blogspot.com/ She is also leading initiatives in the use of the virtual world, Second Life, for teaching and professional development.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals, an Academic Fellow in the centre for Inquiry Based Learning in the Arts and Social Sciences, a member of the IFLA Information Literacy Section committee, and was the IWR Information Professional of the Year in 1999.
