Abstract:
The Ex Libris systems use XML API, support RSS, SOAP, OpenURL, Shibboleth and other new technologies. bX is the most recent of services provided by the Ex Libris company. It is a unique service which will recommend articles to user based on aggregated usage data from worldwide research communities. In the first part of the presentation, the method of using the new technologies implemented in Ex Libris systems in libraries will be presented. The second part will present the bX reference service.

Jana Matějková ukončila v roce 1994 Střední knihovnickou školu v Praze. V letech 1998-2002 absolvovala pětileté magisterské studium na Pedagogické fakultě UK, obor český jazyk a literatura - rodinná výchova. Od roku 2001 je zaměstnancem Filozofické fakulty UK, kde pracuje jako správce knihovny psychologie a sociologie, dále se věnuje informační gramotnosti a elektronickým zdrojům. Začátkem roku 2009 začala procovat pro Multidata s.r.o. a je zodpovědná za prodej a marketing.
