Abstract:

The new Economist Online portal provides users Open Access to high-quality academic research resources in the field of economics. The portal is being built within the framework of EU grant NEEO. Prestigious European academic institutions associated in the NEREUS network are collaborating on its creation and service. The portal also provides access to the results of publications created by UK CERGE. The main aim of the paper is to present the EO portal with all its functions. All essential tasks done by CERGE-EI which are necessary for NEEO project fulfillment will be also presented in the paper.
