Creative Commons Licences and Their Czech Version

Abstract:
The presentation aims to inform audience about czech version of Creative Commons licences. Author will explain basic characteristics of licences and specify principles of their usage with short guidelines concerning to their practical application. Further author will highlight fields of e-publishing where CC licences are often used. Relation of CC licences to Czech law will be explained after that. Presentation will end with introduction of working team that created the czech CC licences.
About author:
Author did his masters in information science studies at the Institute of Information Science and Librarianship (ÚISK). He currently works in the National Library of Czech Republic for the WebArchive project. He´s participant in project that created czech version of Creative Commons Licence.
