Abstract:

The presentation summarises experiences with the creation and the tuition of e-learning's information literacy cources at Masaryk University. The article deals also with teoretical topics as distance learning, didactic aspects of e-learning, new role and competency of librariens for education.

About author:

Petra Šedinová works as Head of Central Library Faculty of Education Masaryk University in Brno. Her main focus is on electronic information resources, information literacy and e-learning. She participates as a teacher at the Library and Information Studies Department, Faculty of Arts Masaryk University. She interested in a new educational technology and as a teaching librarian prepares information literacy e-learning courses.
