Enterprise and Global World. In the present era of hyper-competition on a global market of offer and demand, enterprises have to cope with changing needs of global customers. If they want to survive and keep their efficiency, they need to fully understand the strategy of a global customer, consider global competition, which is present everywhere, and keep in mind the existence of global offer of outsourcing in individual internal processes of enterprise. All that creates a big pressure on present enterprises and in this new entrepreneurship the Enterprise as a Living Organism is much better equipped for the era of knowledge and is able to maximize creation of added value of global economics and global world than a model of an enterprise with traditional hierarchy. Olga Girstlová (1960), Vicepresident & CEO and of GiTy Group, deputy chairman of the board. She studied at Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication and graduated in 1984. In 1990, together with husband and father, she established GiTy company, a company, which operates in the field of information technology and telecommunications. In the GiTy company she implements the company strategy and she participate on implementing new system of management, which comes out from permanent values of Baťa Management System.
In the year 1995 she was awarded by her first price Manager – entrepreneur of the year, 2 years later she obtained the price Crystal heart for ethics in business. In the year 1999 she was the first Czech woman who was awarded by the price The Leading Women Entrepreneurs of the World. This year she obtained the price Women of the year 2005 – Business. She got actively involved in a support of women entrepreneurs in business. She started to present this topic in public to get support and understanding from various institutions and the state. She is in the position of an honorary president of the Moravian Association of Women Entrepreneurs, Member of the regional board of Junior Achievement, Member of trustees at Silesian University in Opava, Member of the scientific board of the Faculty of Management at Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín, Member of the American Business Chamber, Member of Women´s Forum Prague - head of section on business. She absolved study at prestigious Universities of the world – YALE, University Peking, Singapore, UH Manow Hawai including regular professional presentations at conferences and specialized seminars.
