Abstract
The main focus of the article describes new information searching and retrieval technologies on the web. Possibilities of the integration into the LMS with purpose on increase quality and range of library information services for clients.
About the author
Ing. Nadezda Andrejcikova graduated from the Slovak University of Agriculture, division: Management information system. She worked as programmer-analyst in PVT company in Czech republic. In 1992, she established her own companies: Cosmotron Bohemia in Czech republic and Cosmotron Slovakia in Slovakia. These companies are dealing with programming and analysis of library software, development, implementation and administration of library system "Advanced Rapid Library" in Czech and Slovak republic, which is dedicated for administration and management of the information in the memory institutions. She is the director and owner of these companies, she works as implementation consultant and consultant of the international standards for data processing and information access in the memory institutions and as library and database expert. She is also a member of the Slovak librarian association.
