Vladimir Karen (born November 6th, 1963) graduated at the Czech Technical University, Faculty of Electrical
Engineering. After finishing studies he joined Gramofonove zavody in Lodenice (a CD pressing plant near Prague) at a position of
premastering dept. manager and he was also partially responsible for CD-ROM production start-up.
In summer 1991 he became one
of the founders of ICOME s.r.o. The company has pioneered CD-ROM technology in Czechoslovakia by publishing own titles and
distributing foreign electronic information resources on this media. Since the company reorganization in January 1995 he became
the Sales Director of Albertina icome Praha s.r.o. and also Albertina icome Bratislava s.r.o. (since 1996). Today he is the
Executive Director of Albertina icome Praha s.r.o. and he manages all activities of this company. |
