Effective use of today’s information technologies for decision-making
(Competitive / Business Intelligence) cannot be achieved without purposeful interconnection to available information sources. The
contribution demonstrates possibilities of such linkage between professional tools for information retrieval and analysis provided
by company Tovek and information sources provided by companies Albertina data, Anopress, Economia and Čekia. |

Member of the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals, vicepresident of the Czech Chamber of
Detectives Services, member of the Board of the Czech Association of Private Security and Detective Services. Graduated from the
Czech Technical university Mr.Vejlupek has been working in IT industry for 20 years. In 1993 he established the private company
Tovek specializing in professional tools for information retrieval and analysis. Beside management of the company Mr.Vejlupek is
engaging in development of methods for using IT in better decision making and especially in Competitive/Business intelligence,
Counterintelligence, Knowledge Management and Fraud analysis. |
