	In the course of the last year we have witnessed very fast shift toward practical realization of virtual libraries and web information servers ub the true sense of this expresion. Many questions concerning such digital information resources are just now much more actual a some real solutions of particular aspects - technical, organization, and economic - emerge and thez are tested in real life. Presented paper will summarize the present status in particular aspects and it will focus on probable development in near future.
